Credit Line

A Credit Line is a financing facility Slate extends to a Customer up to an approved limit, and whose lifecycle (active, suspended, reinstated) Slate manages. It comes in two types. A revolving line backs a card the partner operates: the partner records the customer's activity (purchases, payments, rebates) in real time and Slate groups it into billing periods with immutable statements and a minimum payment. A draw facility lets the customer take financed draws on demand: each draw is a financing agreement of the line with its own repayment schedule, and there are no billing periods or statements.
